Check on Each Other

Forecasters expect a very strong El Niño this winter. Research on warnings shows that hearing about a threat from someone you know is one of the best ways to get people moving, and not everyone gets alerts on their phone. Before storms reach our Southcoast and South Skyline areas:

  • TRADE phone numbers with at least 1 neighbor.
  • AGREE to call or knock when an alert goes out for your area.
  • KNOW who on your street lives alone or has limited mobility.

ARES members volunteer their skills and equipment to help their community. Let your neighbors know that you are ready to help. When an alert comes, pass it on.
